This was a great book. It was a page turner, faithfully wanting
to find out what happens to the main characters, Meghan and Sarah. They were two
well-developed characters with quite different personalities, which kept the story
interesting and scary. Yes, frightening most of the time, which kept you on the
edge of your seat, fingers constantly poised to turn the page.
I would like to believe that this doesn’t really happen, but
I know that it does, which makes you root for them both and keep reading until
the end. You can’t put it down. I was so worried that neither one would make it
out, and Donna kept the writing so absorbing that you didn’t know what was going
to happen next.
The book has an impactful story, one that stays with you,
wondering and praying that any real-life situations turn out for the good, and
this one does, too. I know that may sound crazy, but you get to know and feel
for these characters, and it slams your heart with emotions you don’t expect. You
will enjoy and be glad if you read this one. This is a story well done.
